Waltz Allegro for the Classical Accordion - (Dec 2013)
The first music video attempt by Shad Eash and Josiah Einwechter
BEHIND THE SCENES
Gene Kirschbaum writes, "I took the accordion out of mothballs to prepare this little piece by Charlie Magnante for Shad's music video project. Magnante was one of the finest popular players in the "golden age" of the accordion (ca. 1910 -- 1960). Most of the serious music I played in my college years is much too difficult for me to attempt today, but I learned this piece as a young lad of around ten years old! It was one of my mom's favorites. Hope you enjoy it."
It was an absolute pleasure and a fun project to put together that taught us so much. Thanks, Kirschbaum family for jumping on board with such enthusiasm. And a special thanks to Elias Raine for agreeing to fill the biggest gap in the grip department with only 9 hours notice. And thanks to Josiah Einwechter for throwing everything you had into getting those beautiful shots with so little time to work with.
